Terms of Use

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Please read these terms carefully. By using aSoberBed, you agree to them.

1. What aSoberBed is — and is not

aSoberBed is an online directory of substance-use and mental-health treatment facilities. We are not a healthcare provider, treatment program, referral service, placement agency, insurance broker, or crisis line. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing on this site is a substitute for the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

2. No referrals, no endorsements

Listing a facility is not a recommendation or endorsement. We do not select facilities for you, transfer calls, or receive compensation tied to any admission or patient. Directory order reflects relevance to your search; clearly labeled "Paid listing" placements are advertising. You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting any facility, and we encourage you to verify licensure with your state and confirm insurance coverage directly.

3. Accuracy of information

Facility data is drawn from government sources (SAMHSA N-SUMHSS, FindTreatment.gov), facility submissions, and our own verification work. Services, availability, licensure status, and insurance participation change frequently. Information is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Always confirm details directly with the facility before making decisions.

4. Acceptable use

5. Facility listings and claims

Facility representatives may claim a listing subject to identity and licensure verification. Paid listing plans are governed by a separate listing agreement; fees are flat, set in advance, and never based on referrals, leads, or patient volume. We may suspend or remove any listing that is inaccurate, unlicensed, or deceptive, or that violates our Advertising & Listing Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The aSoberBed name, design, and original content are our property. Government data remains in the public domain. Facility names and marks belong to their owners.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aSoberBed and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on directory information, including the selection of, or care received at, any facility. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be flagged on this page.

9. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: legal@asoberbed.com.
