Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Searching for addiction or mental-health care is one of the most sensitive things a person can do online. We built this site so you can do it without being tracked, profiled, or sold.

The short version: browse anonymously — no account needed. We treat every search as sensitive health information. We don't sell or share your personal information, we don't use advertising trackers or pixels on search pages, and facilities you contact never learn about you through us — because calls and website visits go directly to them.

What we collect

What we never do

Sensitive health data

We treat searches and browsing on this site as consumer health data under laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not use geofencing around treatment facilities. Because we are a directory and not a healthcare provider, the information we hold is not HIPAA "protected health information" — which is exactly why we hold as little as possible.

Your rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know, access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, and to opt out of sales or targeted advertising (we do neither). To exercise any right, email privacy@asoberbed.com. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.

Retention & security

Server logs are retained for no more than 90 days. Claim-form submissions are retained while a claim or listing is active and for as long as required for legal and accounting purposes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes & contact

We'll post any changes here and flag material ones. Questions: privacy@asoberbed.com.
